We respond to an average of around 135calls per year which ranges from structure fires EMS emergencies car accidents fire alarm activations mutual aid responsesand other emergencies. Currently the Best Luther Fire Department has 9active apparatus which includes 2 Engines 31 36 a Rescue Truck Rescue 3 a Tanker Tanker 3 an ATV ATV3 a Utility Truck U3 and 3 Chief vehicles. We have approximately 35 volunteer Active Members whose roles and jobs vary within our department from Interior and Exterior Firefighters to EMTs to Drivers and Pump Operators to Scene Support to Fire Police and so much more.
