Since 1984, DIFFA has emerged from a grassroots organization into a national Foundation. Headquartered in New York City, DIFFA has chapters in Chicago, Dallas, and San Francisco, and has provided over $51 million to hundreds of HIV/AIDS organizations nationwide.

| In addition to raising money for our community, the Midnight Masque Gala also honored the Angelo Donghia Foundation for its commitment to DIFFA’s Student Design Initiative. With the support of the such a dedicated patron, the design program has provided hundreds of students with invaluable hands-on experiences and mentorship. To commemorate this collaboration, four schools— Pratt Institute, New York School of Interior Design, FIT, and the School of Visual Arts— each created a signature piece to debut at the event.
