The Shepherd Centre teaches deaf and hearing impaired children how to listen and speak so that they can reach their full potential in the hearing world. The Shepherd Centre is a not-for-profit providing specialised programs for children with hearing loss In 2022 2023, distributions were made to The Shepherd Centre for deaf children to assist this charity in its implementation of a familycentred early intervention program, which promotes the development of listening and speaking skills in children who were born deaf or hearing impaired.
