The Alliance to End Homelessness is the lead agency for the Cook County Continuum of Care (IL-511) The Alliance to End Homelessness in Suburban Cook County leads the coordinated response to prevent and end homelessness across all 130 Cook County suburbs located outside the city of Chicago. Established in 1997 as the Task Force on Homelessness, the group changed its name to the Alliance to End Homelessness in Suburban Cook County, formally incorporated in 2004 and secured nonprofit status in 2005. The Alliance leads a diverse network of partners working together to develop, fund, and implement solutions to end homelessness.

Alliance to End Homelessness in Cook County Every person deserves a safe and stable place to call home Our mission is to end homelessness in suburban Cook County. We believe this is possible through crosssector collaboration datadriven decisionmaking and removing barriers to housing. We lead the Cook County Continuum of Care a diverse network of partners working together to develop fund and implement solutions to end homelessness. Coordinated Entry is a communitywide system made up of nonprofit homeless service providers that connect people experiencing homelessness and housing instability with the resources they need.
