Toby and Itzhak Perlman were recently awarded the Yale School of Music's Sanford Medal, the school's highest honor recognizing contributions to music and music education, for their work with The Perlman Music Program. Previous recipients include Eugene Ormandy, Dorothy DeLay, the Tokyo String Quartet, and Yo-Yo Ma.
