'Painted Ponies' Comes to the Ruskin Theatre May 2-4! Award-winning actor Rachel Sorsa stars in Painted Ponies, a moving new solo play by playwright and Meisner protegé lan McRae, directed by LADCC Career Achievement recipient Elina de Santos. The piece runs for three performances only-May 2, 3, and 4—at the Ruskin Theatre. A haunting and heartfelt portrait of a mother grappling with her past, Painted Ponies explores themes of courage, forgiveness, and resilience. Sorsa, a three-time Ovation Award nominee, delivers a raw and defiant performance in this unflinching feminist study of love and loss.
