In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, WesleyLife's director of organizational learning, Krista Van Hooser-Perin, hosted a lunch-and-learn last week at our organizational headquarters in Johnston. Among other resources, Krista talked about Mental Health First Aid training; since launching this initiative in 2024, WesleyLife has trained over 100 leaders as a key component of our commitment to holistic well-being. By the end of 2026, we intend for ALL leaders to be trained in MHFA! Krista also made team members aware of broader resources, such as NAMI and its national mental health crisis phone number. Supporting mental health strengthens us all. When we lift the field, we all rise! (fb)
