WCLI is a fully staffed wildlife rehabilitation and education center established in 1982. We are dedicated to preserving a sustainable future for Long Island’s wildlife. With few peers across the region, we are focused on native wildlife rehabilitation. We rescue, rehabilitate & alleviate the suffering of over 2,200 orphaned and injured wild patients each year, and provide over 200 education and outreach programs. Our Wildlife Hotline handles 10,000 calls annually about injured & orphaned wildlife.
