AVWPE Home - The Arkansas Valley Wind & Percussion Ensemble AVWPE Home The Arkansas Valley Wind and Percussion Ensemble is a wellestablished community band in Lamar Colorado. We include a concert band and smaller ensembles such as the AVWPE Jazz Band pictured here The band consists entirely of volunteer musicians from the area around Lamar in Southeastern Colorado and provides several concerts a year to our local community. The band rehearses in the Shore Arts Center for several weeks in advance of our concerts.
