UNICO Stamford is in the business of changing and shaping lives. Each year we have various fundraisers including our golf tournament and Italian Street Festival. We award thousands of dollars in scholarships and Christmas gifts to deserving locals. THE ORGANIZATION'S PRIMARY EXEMPT PURPOSE IS TO PROVIDE SERVICES TO THE COMMUNITY, AND TO PROMOTE, SUPPORT AND ASSIST CHARITABLE, SCIENTIFIC, CULTURAL, EDUCATIONAL AND LITERACY PROJECTS. IN ADDITION, THE ORGANIZATION COOPERATES WITH OTHERS IN SOCIAL AND CULTURAL DEVELOPMENT.

The Chapter raised the funds to produce and erect the Statue of Columbus and also the 500th Anniversary monument that are now in Columbus Park. We are driven by a single goal to do our part in making our community a better place for all. This is why each year we award thousands of dollars in scholarships to local students and give thousands of dollars in gifts to needy families at Christmas.
