Syracuse Community Choir – Singing For Peace & Social Justice
We sing songs of peace & social justice, educating each other and the greater community about social, political, and environmental issues. TO PROVIDE AN OPPORTUNITY FOR ALL PEOPLE TO SING AND PERFORM SONGS OF PEACE AND JUSTICE IN A SAFE AND INCLUSIVE COMMUNITY. OUR VALUES INCLUDE MUSIC THAT ADDRESSES ISSUES OF OPPRESSION SUCH AS ABLEISM, RACISM, SEXISM OR HOMOPHOBIA, PROVIDE INSPIRATION FOR CHANGING THE WORLD AND PROMOTE RESPECT FOR THE EARTH. OUR DESIRE IS TO SOUND GOOD, HAVE FUN AND LOVE EACH OTHER ANDTHE EARTH WELL.

Syracuse Community Choir A Place for Every Voice Syracuse Community Choir Wednesday February 26th at 7 PM Preseason Sociocracy MeetUp Grace Church819 Madison Street Syracuse Singing songs for peace and justice for 40 years. The Syracuse Community Choir was started in 1985 to create opportunities for all people all ages all abilities to come together be part of a larger community and to sing. We believe that every voice matters. The Syracuse Community Choir is committed to addressing issues of oppression ableism racism sexism and antiLGBTQ rhetoric while providing inspiration to change the world through music.
