The Mohawk Music Association supports the music students and programs of the Mohawk Trail Regional School District in rural Franklin County Massachusetts. The Mohawk Music Association began in 1976 to support music students from the Franklin County towns of Ashfield, Buckland, Charlemont, Colrain, Hawley, Heath, Plainfield, Rowe, Shelburne, and beyond. It is made up of parents, community members and other friends working throughout the year to: - Raise funds to help the music department - Provide Scholarships to graduating music seniors - Purchase and maintain uniforms and performance attire - Assist the music department in its activities - Encourage youth and adult interest in music
