Knoxville Society Chapter works with the FBI to arrange a great reunion! (fb)

FBI and U.S. Marine Corps Reunion The Knoxville Chapter of the Society played a key role in bringing together the outgoing SAC of Knoxville Troy Sowers and U.S. Corporal Stewart Rembert in a heartfelt reunion. These two men met 22 years ago behind a store in Tacoma, Washington when newborn Rembert was kidnapped from his mother’s room at the hospital. Sowers was a young Special Agent assigned a kidnapping case and through his investigation he arrested the female kidnapper, who then led him to the cardboard box that held the victim. The Knoxville office of the FBI and our Knoxville chapter worked as a team to locate the Marine and get him and wife to the FBI’s office in Knoxville for a surprise on SAC Sower’s last day in the FBI.
