NewStory Center NewStory Center Home Domestic violence is a pattern of abusive behavior that one person uses to gain and maintain power and control over another usually an intimate partner. Tactics may include physical sexual emotional economic abuse and isolation. If you or someone you know is being abused please call the NewStory Center 247 crisis hotline at 8027753232. The term stalking is used to describe specific kinds of behavior directed at a particular person such as harassing or threatening.
