Lemont High School Educational Foundation

The Lemont High School Educational Foundation (LHSEF) is a nonprofit organization based in Lemont, Illinois, established in 2007. This foundation operates independently of Lemont High School District 210 and aims to enhance educational opportunities for students by partnering with the community to support various programs and initiatives.

Mission and Goals

The primary mission of LHSEF is to make lasting improvements to Lemont High School, enriching the educational experience of all students. The foundation seeks to provide financial assistance for educational programs that support student growth academically and socially, as well as promote the overall well-being of the Lemont community. Since its inception, the LHSEF has funded more than $575,000 in grants aimed at various initiatives within the school. In the 2024-2025 academic year alone, the foundation committed nearly $31,000 to support 11 Educational Foundation Grants proposed by faculty and staff, designed to further educational opportunities within the school community. These grants encompass a wide range of programs, including social interaction initiatives, technology enhancements, and educational resources.
