JEFFERSON COUNTY SEARCH DOG ASSOCIATION
A volunteer organization whose purpose is to provide qualified S&R dogs and handlers that assist requesting agencies in searching for individuals missing. JCSDA is responsible for the area known as EMA Area 6 in Kentucky (this includes the counties of Jefferson, Oldham, Bullitt, Trimble, Spencer, Nelson, Meade, Henry and Shelby), and Southern Indiana (Clark, Floyd, Harrison, Scott, Washington, and Crawford counties). Sometimes we may be called to go to other parts of either Kentucky, or Indiana depending on the emergency, and their resources.
