Although it has existed for almost 370 years, Higher Education remains one of the growth sectors in the US economy. Currently there are over 4,000 institutions of Higher Education Enrolling Over 16.5 Million Students. The Education Commission of the States projects Higher Education enrollment could exceed 27.6 million by 2015. Yet One Disturbing Fact Remains: Of the over 1.6 million new students who enroll in college each year, only an abysmal 54% of college freshmen graduate within six years. The mission of Collegiate EmPowerment is to support students, educators and institutions alike to increase enrollment, improve retention and promote matriculation through the United States Higher Education System.
