The Medical Missionaries of Mary were founded in 1937 by Marie Helena Martin in Nigeria, West Africa. Today we work in Africa, Europe, Central America, South America, Mexico and here in the United States. We have a special interest in the health of woman and their children and in the integration of the various health therapies.

The Medical Missionaries of Mary are an international missionary congregation of women religious founded by Mother Mary Martin in Nigeria in 1937. The Congregation and the members are also known by their official initials MMM.
