Doctors Council endorses, PCY4YOU Primary Care for You Massachusettes, legislation that will fix the Primary Care system in Massachusetts by increasing access to Primary Care, making primary care free for the patients of practices that opt-in (no copays or deductibles), and will dramatically decrease health inequities in MA. PC4You will improve the overall health of residents and at the same time, will decrease the overall cost of healthcare in the state, in part by reducing unnecessary visits to the ER and preventable hospitalizations.
