Prep for Prep alumnus Chris McLeod (X/Saint David’s ’91, Browning ’95, Amherst ’99) MBA Howard ’08 recently appeared on Fox5 DC to shed light on the experiences of Black men who stutter. Joined by DaVon Camp and Aidan Marshall-Cort, Chris shared his journey of resilience, from navigating childhood challenges to overcoming heightened anxiety during the pandemic’s shift to virtual meetings. Determined to turn adversity into advocacy, he joined the National Stuttering Association, spoke at their conference, and became a role model—especially for people of color who stutter.
