THE MISSION OF THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST ALUMNI OF FOSTER CARE IS TO BE A VOICE FOR YOUTH AND ALUMNI OF FOSTER CARE TO CREATE A COMMUNITY, STATE AND NATIONAL AWARENESS OF FOSTER CARE ISSUES. THE PURPOSE OF THIS AWARENESS IS TO FACILITATE INNOVATIVE SOCIAL CHANGES THAT LEAD TO ADVANCEMENT OF POLICY AND PRACTICES. ULTIMATELY, IT IS TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR CHILDREN WITHIN THE CHILD WELFARE SYSTEM.
