The Bureau for International Reporting is an independent non-profit production company dedicated to the public service of bringing objectively produced, under-reported international news stories to an American audience. Only a truly informed public can fulfill the promise of a democratic society; at a time when America?s interests are increasingly entwined in global affairs, we seek to fill the gap left by broadcast news organizations as they scale back their foreign news bureaus and air time dedicated to international issues.
