YWITT Working Towards Safer Skilled Trades and Technology Careers for all YWITT is a communityled nonprofit society based in Whitehorse Yukon. YWITT is located on the territory of the selfgoverning Kwanlin Dn First Nation and the Taan Kwatchan Council. Since its incorporation in August 2000 YWITT has been working as a feminist community nonprofit organization based in Whitehorse Yukon to advance equity in trades and technology careers while working alongside community partners to run programs and initiatives. This includes experiential workshops advocacy support communityled research and policy work to facilitate awareness education and action toward equity and inclusion in the trades and technology sectors.
