Singing from the heart since 1927. Queens' Community Chorus -- Singing from the heart since 1927! OSQ is the premier choral organization in Queens. Under the direction of Dr. Jin Byun, this large & diverse choir annually perform a Holiday and Spring concert. The mission of the Oratorio Society of Queens is to engage, educate and uplift the Queens community by presenting musical programs that span the repertoire from great choral masterpieces to all-time favorites. We are a community-based chorus and accomplish our mission by • providing our diverse membership with joy-filled rehearsal and performance experiences that expand their musical abilities, build community, richly contribute to the cultural life of Queens • offering opportunities for high school students to learn music theory, voice production, stage presence civic responsibility by attending regular rehearsals and performing with the chorus • presenting holiday and spring concerts which recognized as the premiere choice for Queens audiences who want to hear excellent choral music
