The Lunchbox Fund is a NPO that responds to the education crisis faced by millions of children in South Africa by offering targeted nutrition in school and pre-school settings, in an effort to encourage enrollment, attendance, and learning. Since 2005, the Lunchbox Fund (LBF) has responded to the education crisis faced by millions of children in South Africa by offering targeted nutrition in school and pre-school settings. Our meals offer a behavioral incentive for children to attend school, and enables them to concentrate and learn while there. We work in township and rural areas across South Africa, helping children get the education they desperately need to build a life free of poverty for themselves and their families.

The Lunchbox Fund Transforming a childs education one meal at a time. In 2021 Lunchbox Fund extended our preschool reach to encompass mobile preschool centres comeandplay buses mobile toy libraries and homebased early childhood development programs. Our meals are supporting quality education for children in the most rural underresourced areas. 100 of all donations and grants go directly to food logistics and monitoring costs.
