Founded in 1976, the PRC is an independent non-profit that serves as a vital forum for the exploration, interpretation, & celebration of photography. Founded in 1976, the Photographic Resource Center (PRC) is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The Photographic Resource Center is an arts organization dedicated to exploring, interpreting and educating the public about the photographic arts through public programming: exhibitions, lectures, presentations, peer to peer networking and workshops. We inspire our members, students, educational institutions, and the arts community with new work, ideas and opportunities to learn. The PRC is committed to creating and maintaining a diverse, inclusive organization that celebrates photography in all forms. We strive to be a place where everyone belongs.
