Did you know that the Community Services Support Foundation has awarded over $122,000 in Mini-Grants to various agency programs over the last 10 years? The funded projects enrich the lives of others, specifically in arts, fitness, social well-being, music, therapy, play, technology, and more. One Mini-Grant granted an accessible swing set for residents at one of our IRAs! The swing set provided opportunities for exercise and staying cool during the summer months. (fb)

We held a financial workshop for the community at the Lyceum where instructor Alicia Tucker, Budgeting Program Manager of Vocational and Habilitation Services, guided attendees on saving and spending effectively for rent, bills, groceries, and vacations. Participants had the opportunity to ask questions and receive advice in real time. Everyone had a great time learning about financial management and obtaining skills that’d last them a lifetime. (fb)
