dsbMail Call  began in July 2002 by sending hope and humor in the form of a weekly six page newsletter to a few prisoners. Since that first issue, our contact list has grown to nearly 400 inmates in state and federal institutions throughout the U.S. We now communicate with Mail Call folks in Great Britain and Central Africa. We have never advertised and we are not a pen-pal site. The prisoners we communicate with have found out about us by word of mouth and have contacted us directly to request that their names be added to our mailing list.
