It's the last week to see Melanie Vote, "Consulting with the Light Eaters" and Bread & Roses Studio! Stop by Equity Gallery this Wednesday through Saturday from 12:00pm to 6:00pm to see the exhibitions before they close! In her solo exhibition "Consulting with the Light Eaters", Melanie Vote exhibits new plein air works, studio paintings, and installation elements based on her continued exploration of the natural world, specifically, the midwestern farming plains she grew up in and returned to years later in a Ruskinian effort to memorialize and preserve their beauty. Bread & Roses Studio, a Brooklyn-based collective comprised of four sculptors, presents new work in the Equity Gallery Courtyard. The members of Bread & Roses Studio are Candice Spry, Liza Little, Madison Haws and Michael Levchenko. Equity Gallery will be hosting an artist talk for Melanie Vote, "Consulting with the Light Eaters" and Bread & Roses Studio this coming Wednesday, May 21st at 6:30pm. The talk will feature Ms. Vote and members of the Bread & Roses Studio collective.
