Millions of companion animals-many purebred-are euthanized each year, and at least half are adoptable. Many of our dogs are former impulse purchases by owners who didn?t consider the ten to fifteen year commitment of owning a Poodle. Some were abandoned or mistreated. Poodles are referred to us through our hotline and from area dog officers, veterinarians, shelters, other rescue groups and our network of volunteers. Each dog is evaluated for behavior and temperament and receives a comprehensive medical exam and all necessary treatment. We do not have a shelter. Our dogs are cared for by our dedicated foster care volunteers in their homes throughout New England. Our Poodles are carefully matched to the new family?s home environment and lifestyle. Our goal is to place the right Poodle in the right home.
