Shiwa named after the Tibetan word for peace is a nonprofit charitable organization whose purpose is to assist in the development of genuine compassion and wisdom in the world. Shiwa will help to nurture the natural inborn potential for peace and happiness which is present in all of us. Shiwa provides a nondenominational facility where participants may attend teachings classes and seminars on a variety of topics related to personal and community development.
