To advance the economic and physical development of the area served and the social welfare of the people in that area by providing informational and educational services to the public, private agencies, and organizations concerned with the economic, physical, and social welfare of the people of the areas by assisting and cooperating with agencies and organizations in planning, implementing programs, and acivities designed to achieve the purposes of the Council.
