The mission of the Jewish Federation of the Berkshires is to care for those in need and nurtue and sustain Jewish community, locally and around the world, now and for future generations. The Federation as a volunteer organization pursues its mission through fundraising, community-wide programming, supporting Jewish education and social services, developing leaders, advocating for social action initiatives, fostering communication and cooperation among Jewish organizations, and by building strong relationships with Israel and the community at large
