Thank you, Andy Chan Strong, for sharing this video and post. The money raised at Night for Blue last year helped fund nine drones and established the new Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) Unit. The funds raised this year will continue to expand the drone initiative. The PPD needs approximately 60 drones, which will be housed in "docking stations" on rooftops in strategic locations throughout the city for easy deployment during emergencies.
