OPEN FOR PLAY THIS MEMORIAL DAY ☀️ The Children’s Museum & Theatre of Maine will be OPEN TO ALL from 9 am to 4 pm this Monday, May 26, 2025! Kick off the summer season with a day of fun, creativity, and exploration in our child-centered facility with three floors of interactive exhibits and an Outdoor Adventure area. Enjoy a captivating theatrical performance in Maddy’s Theatre 🎭, engage in creative activities in MakerSpace 🖍️, or encounter real ocean and freshwater creatures from the Maine watershed 🐢! PLEASE NOTE: All parking 🚗 on Thompson’s Point requires payment 24 hours per day, seven days per week, at $2 an hour. This includes the parking spaces adjacent to CMTM and the dirt lots. The entirety of Thompson’s Point is located within zone # 1213. TOMORROW: SCIENCE FOR TOTS 🧪Thursday, May 22, 2025, 10 am - 10:30 am Discover the Science for Tots series! This weekly drop-in class is specially designed for children ages 2-5 and their caregivers. 🐝This month, Science for Tots is abuzz with an exploration of insects! We’ll explore insects’ bodies by creating our own bugs from recycled materials, discover how honeybees work together to make honey with a bee foraging game, and explore symmetry by creating butterfly paint prints. This 30-minute program starts promptly at 10 am. Sessions have limited capacity to ensure materials and the staff-to-participant ratio. Included with Admission.
