Lone Star Chapter, one of nineteen Regional EMMY chapters that are a part of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. Lone Star Chapter is the standard-bearer for excellence in the TV broadcasting industry in Texas The Lone Star Chapter, which is based in Dallas/Fort Worth, is dedicated to becoming the primary portal to connect professionals and students in Texas' television broadcast-related fields for networking and career development. The chapter also is committed to encouraging and recognizing high levels of professional achievement through the annual presentation of the prestigious regional EMMY Awards.

Sports EMMY® Awards - Lonestar Emmy New The Lone Star Chapter is proud to partner with Journalism Mentors. Since its inception in 2002 this statewide chapter has grown to become one of the largest in the country serving all 19 television markets in Texas. It includes members from TVrelated fields including news and nonnews broadcasting production postproduction education advertising and public relations. The chapter is dedicated to becoming the primary portal to connect professionals and students in Texas television broadcastrelated and other video fields for networking and career development.
