All of the preparations for today’s Gala has distracted me from what actually today means to us. It’s one of the best days of our lives. Nick sat at a machine for 5 hours donating 5 million stem cells, Angela fainted at the sight of it, Marc trekked back from college and Paul waited patiently upstairs in his room for the bag of stem cells to arrive that saved his life. Greg & I held our breath and prayed. We are blessed! (fb)
