Mather Hospital, a member of Northwell Health, is a 248-bed community teaching hospital. JTM Health Facilities Foundation is organized to raise funds for John T. Mather Memorial Hospital. The Foundation is authorized by the Hospital to solicit contributions on its behalf. The principle purposes of the Foundation are: To foster and promote the programs and services of Mather Hospital through philanthropic support. To ensure philanthropic support so that healthcare is provided in an atmosphere of understanding and compassion; where needs and concerns are responded to quickly and with respect for patients' dignity and privacy; and that embraces advanced state-of-the-art technology to produce best possible outcomes in both quality and safety. To engage in fundraising efforts including major, capital and endowment gift programs; events and appeals; planned giving; and grant solicitation to raise the maximum funds possible to support the healing environment at Mather Hospital.
