AFACT organizes, empowers and mobilizes faith communities to address quality of life issues affecting their community. To raise the quality of life (economic, educational and social) of the residents of Anchorage and the surrounding community, and to foster community-wide interest and concern for the problems of area residents so that educational and economic opportunities may be expanded, sickness, poverty, crime, and environmental degradation may be lessened, racial tension, prejudice and discrimination may be eliminated.
