SUFFOLK YOUNG PEOPLE'S THEATRE
Suffolk Young People's Theatre, formed in 1979 by the Late Ray Dyer MBE, is a registered charity running an annual intensive summer school for 14-23 yrs. The Suffolk Young People's Theatre is a three week summer school where young people are challenged to develop a piece of theatre, worthy of public performance at The Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds with 2 weeks rehearsals and one week of performances. This challenge has been successfully met ever since founded in 1979.

Inundated with displaced fairytale creatures everyones favourite ogre Shrek goes on a quest to find Princess Fiona so she can marry Lord Farquaad. Accompanying him on this long and perilous journey whether he wants him there or not is noble steed Donkey. Seems simple enough.
