A multi-service nonprofit on the Upper East Side of Manhattan focused on children, families, youth, and aging New Yorkers. Strategic partner of @GoddardRiv. Nonprofit human service provider on the Upper East Side. Strategic partner of @GoddardRiverside. The Isaacs Center is a multi-site social service agency founded in 1964 in the settlement house tradition. Our mission is to promote social and physical well-being, and encourage growth and self-reliance throughout every stage of life. We reach across generations and cultures in our work with the poor, the isolated and the disconnected of all ages, genders, backgrounds and abilities. Each year we directly assist more than 6,000 inner-city children, young people, adults, families, seniors and the frail, homebound elderly. Our primary service area, which includes East Harlem, is predominately low-income.

🏠 Hands Off Housing. 🏠 We’re standing with @thenetworkny and @housingworks to demand full funding for critical housing programs in the FY26 federal budget. Trump’s proposal slashes HUD by 44%, eliminates the Housing Opportunities for People with Aids (HOPWA) program, and guts the Continuum of Care (CoC) — putting #supportivehousing and lives at risk.
