The National Hurricane Conference is the nation’s forum for education and professional training in hurricane and disaster preparedness. The primary goal of the National Hurricane Conference is to improve hurricane preparedness, response, recovery and mitigation in order to save lives. The mission of he Conference is to conduct seminars, educational programs and informational sessions; and to prepare, publish, and disseminate technical and educational materials about hurricanes and other natural and man-made disasters.
