The Society For Martial Arts Instruction is a kick butt not-for-profit 501 (c) (3) organization offering martial arts classes in NYC. We are committed to empowering people of all ages through the knowledge and practice of martial arts and somatic movement practices. It is the home of the first teacher training program for martial artists that combines Laban Movement Analysis and embodied anatomy and kinesiology. It is the home of the Safe & Sound Self Offense Training and newly created Teacher Training.
