CharlotteMecklenburg Black Heritage Committee Home Established in 2004 The mission of CharlotteMecklenburg Black Heritage Committee CMBHC a 501c3 organization is to facilitate collaborate promote and support the identification collection documentation and dissemination of this regions African American History. We seek to preserve and present with honor African American history and culture with primary focus on the city of Charlotte and Mecklenburg County prior to urban renewal.
