North Bay Cancer Alliance | An Independent Community Resource for Cancer Patients and their families, friends and caregivers An Independent Community Resource for Cancer Patients Celebrating 20 Years of Compassion and Care Our Beginning In 2005 Redwood Regional Medical Group established North Bay Cancer Alliance NBCA as a nonprofit organization to enhance cancer care through physician education research community outreach and direct support for cancer patients and their families. Communitybased Initially NBCAs Board of Directors was composed of physicians. However in 2008 the decision was made to transition to a communitybased board better reflecting the needs and diversity of those we serve. An Essential Part of the North Bay Oncology Community Over the years NBCA has grown into an essential part of the North Bays oncology community.
