Our Mission Creating a Greener Greater Boston In Partnership with the Barr Foundation The Solomon Foundation champions the Commonwealth of Massachusettss public green spaces and their unique contribution to the quality of urban life. Founded by David Solomon and Herb Nolan in 2005 the foundation seeks to frame visionary yet practical projects and help get them ready for implementation. Through careful listening and dialogue we explore a range of options test their feasibility and help frame a shared vision for the future. Working alongside diverse partners across governmental agencies and neighborhoods we help drive greenway and park projects forward.
