The primary purpose of the MLK Celebration of Terrell, Inc.is to recognize the service of community members, as well as award, selected 12th graders college scholarships using your donations! We strive to encourage young people of our community to look for positive role models in their environment (e.g., adults such as teachers, pastors, scout leaders, mentors). Winners and their Honorees are recognized and receive awards at the Annual MLK Celebration each January on the federal holiday at the Terrell Performing Arts Center, 6 p.m.
