U.S. Marine Corps veteran Dan Clarino, who is a two-time Purple Heart recipient and board member for the National Purple Heart Honor Mission, reflected on the significance of the day and the importance of the Purple Heart. “The true essence of Memorial Day is to honor and remember the men and women who died while serving in the United States Military. It’s a day of reflection, gratitude and unity, focused on acknowledging the sacrifices made for our country and the freedom we enjoy,” said Clarino. #MemorialDay #PurpleHeart #HonorOurHeroes #RememberTheFallen #SaluteToService (fb)
