About Rebuilding Together Rebuilding Together started as a heartfelt initiative called Christmas in April in Midland Texas 1973. It39s like receiving a gift imagine having Christmas in April. Aiming to lend a hand to neighbors in need the concept grew leading to the foundation of a national office in 1988 and a name change to Rebuilding Together.
