Home Roots Foundation Home Roots Foundation We uplift children and empower women in Haiti Our approach Changing Lives and Futures A TwoGeneration Approach We start by listening to the community analyzing past successes and failures and identifying root challenges. Using these insights we developed a twogenerational childfocused and gendercentered program that breaks the cycle of poverty by ensuring children gain access to education while empowering their mothers economicallyconcentrating resources within the household to create lasting impact. OUR PROGRAMS Womens Economic Empowerment Many women in Haiti run micro and small businesses but face growth barriers due to limited capital predatory loans and lack of business training. The Womens Small Business Initiative WSBI addresses these challenges through training affordable financing and handson coaching.
